Mission & Philosophy

We believe ALL students will become successful, life-long learners

Craig Wright

On behalf of the Board of Education and the outstanding staff of the Gallipolis City School District, I welcome you.  Our District’s mission is to empower ALL students to become successful, life-long learners.  We are committed to this mission by creating a culture of excellence that supports and encourages student success.

As a District, we will work hard to create a positive environment and instill a passion for life-long learning.  High performance schools have climates that support student achievement.  The Gallipolis City School District is committed to improving respectful relationships among staff, students, parents, and stakeholders in our community.  Our academic success is a result of rigorous educational programs, effective teachers, and strong communal support.  We have implemented new curriculum and wellness programs to ensure that all students reach their full potential in life.

As parents and community members, you are a critical piece in meeting the educational needs of our children.  Please know that your input and cooperation are vital to the success of our District. We know that successful learning occurs through a combination of support and effort from home, school, and our community.  Please feel free to contact me with questions and concerns at craig.wright@gc-k12.org.

Sincerely,

Craig Wright
